Looking back at the road
from whence I'd come,
No one part, a clear stretch--
brooks, brambles, boulders
No head upon my shoulders,
The road did wind
and the road did turn,
I moved on, and so I learned.......
Life's like fire
It can warm, shed light
and it can burn....
Let out of hand, without a care
It ruins everything and itself,
Until only the charred remains
of what was once, It isn't now--
Behind lies a winding road
ahead a freeway to a dream,
the fires within, I have tamed
they have ceased to burn,
shedding light instead
on the path ahead--
No regrets burden me,
When I look back, on the scarred and tortured expanses
that lie barren in the past,
No grudges do i bear
For when I lost it all,
I found the truth.......
