Man eradicates man each day
Killing each other, to pave the way,
Consumed by greed and hate
We never realize how we change our fate….

There’s turmoil and havoc in this world today
Yet on we move, No despair,
Cold are we and carved from stone
Those days long gone, when we were flesh and bone…..

There’s blood on the field, blood everywhere
Tortured screaming souls with no one to hear,
Confusion and doubt loaded within
Tons of pain, fringed with sin….

We play petty parts, up on a stage
Never getting wiser as we decay with age
We smile hiding the pain beneath our masks
Caring for nothing, cept’ these petty parts--
